My name is Marko Bradvica and I was born in Dubrovnik in Yugoslavia in 1937. At the age of 20 years I fled with 4 other boys in a rowboat via Italy and then via ship to Canada.

I started my own One-Man-Painting-Company in Canada and over the years I became a successful owner of different construction companys. In the good old days it was possible to start from skretch and become successful in business. I enjoyed my life as a business man and I loved what I did. Also my beautiful family with my wife and my two lovely boys were part of my life in Canada.

However in my heart I always missed my croatian family and my home country. At the age of 65 I decided to go back to my croatian homeland. I cultivated a rough pice of land which I got from my parents. This was the point as I started Mikulici Nature Park.
